21 Days of Invitation
Everything we do at Alpha starts with prayer, even inviting others. Prayer is a vital part of invitation. God is already at work in the lives of everyone, so let’s ask him to help us as we prepare to invite others to try Alpha.
Before you invite someone to try Alpha, it’s a great idea to pray for them. We want to encourage you to be as intentional as possible in praying for Alpha guests. We’ve created a step by step guide to help you do just that.

Below, you can enter the names of three people you would like to invite into an exploration of life, faith and meaning. Each day for the next 21 days, you will receive an email with a personalised prayer at 1:17pm. Set some time aside, and see what the Lord has planned!
Week 1
Prayers of Inspiration
Praying for God to work in the hearts of the people you are praying for, and for ideas on how to best invite them.
Week 2
Prayers of Invitation
Praying for wisdom, courage and the grace to discern how and when to best invite them.
Week 3
Prayers of Intercession
Giving thanks to God for those we have invited, and praying that they would respond with a yes!
Who to Invite?
Take a moment now and ask God who He would like you to invite. It could be a friend or family member, someone from work or someone you’ve known all your life.
Perhaps God has even made this clear to you already. But if not, there are a few key factors to consider: Is this person already asking the big questions about life? Are they actively searching for truth and meaning? Do they have an open mind and an open heart?
